Do I Stay or Do I Go? - Helping Couples Move Forward

FREE Networking Event

Do you work with couples? Do you feel stuck when one partner wants to work on the relationship and the other is less than committed? Or when a partner says that they want to end the relationship, but they struggle to let it go?

Spend an evening meeting new colleagues and learning about discernment counseling and mediation. These are tools to help support couples and families move past challenging spots. Whether you're interested in learning about how to become trained yourself, or in learning when and how to refer couples for this service, you'll have a chance to get your questions answered and connect with resources.

Discernment counseling is a tool to help couples slow down and explore the state of their relationship, and which of three paths is most appropriate for them:

  1. Continuing the relationship as it is.
  2. Divorcing or uncoupling.
  3. Working to repair the relationship, with a clear understanding of what issues need to be addressed.

If path 2 is chosen, decisions made during the divorce process can have an impact on their lives, as well as their children's lives, for many years. Learn about how mediation can be a tool to promote healthy communication and decision making to support the family as they move forward.

To reserve a spot, REGISTER HERE.

Make sure to bring your business cards. You'll have a chance to briefly introduce yourself to the group - networking without the work!

Hosted by Voda Counseling, Healing Hope Counseling, and Bickford Mediation.
